Pumpple cake

If you see commercials at all, I’m sure you’ve seen the (relatively) recent commercials for Domino’s new cheesy bread. In it, they say that their improved version has as much cheese as a medium pizza. They also repeat one of the axioms of this blog, which is that you make something better by stuffing it with cheese. Artery-cloggingly delicious!

Speaking of disturbing and delicious, straight out of my home state we have the Pumpple cake! It’s “pumpkin and apple pies baked in chocolate and vanilla cake, fused together and surrounded by buttercream icing.” For those days when you can’t make the tough decisions. And when you want 1800 calories worth of dessert.

Pizza crust innovations

I have not kept up with the latest in what people are putting in and on their pizza crusts. Pizza Hut now offers a hotdog-stuffed crust, as well as a pizza with cheeseburgers on the crust. Alas, neither of these are being sold in the US. (…yet?)

Here are some suggestions for what else might be stuffed into pizza crusts some glorious day.

Rock Kat Bar and Grill
